2. Data we process
- Enquiries and quotes: name, e-mail, phone number, travel dates, number of guests and message.
- Registration and private area: name, e-mail and password (stored encrypted).
- Bookings: guest data required for the stay and for mandatory guest registration with the authorities, and bank transfer payment details. We do not collect payment card data on this website.
- Browsing data and cookies: according to the choices you make in the cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering enquiries and sending quotes: pre-contractual steps requested by you (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Managing bookings and stays: performance of the contract (Art. 6.1.b) and legal obligations, including tax rules and guest registration (Art. 6.1.c).
- Statistics and third-party content (e.g. Google Analytics, Instagram): only with your consent (Art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Website security: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).
4. Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for a maximum of 12 months. Booking data is kept for the duration of the relationship and then for the periods required by law (for example tax law). Accounts remain active until you ask us to delete them.
5. Recipients
Data is processed by providers acting on our behalf: hosting (Aruba S.p.A., EU), e-mail delivery and, only with consent, Google (statistics) and Meta/Instagram (content). Some providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions). We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.
6. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@villatenerife.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
7. Children
This website is not intended for children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
